About Rev. Floyd Cryer:
I am a 47 year old ex-biker who is an Ordained Minister that loves to read, write, and watch sports. I love to ride Harleys and travel throughout the United States. My wife and I have a Ministry, Testimony & Prayer Ministries, and we love to teach others about Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. I live in Kentucky and married to my first and only wife Carolyn. My favorite authors are John Grisham and Janet Evanovich.

What inspires you to write?
My inspiration comes from wanting others to see the Truth, know what I know, get the information they need in one spot or book, and simply taking other people’s imagination to their limits. I write non-fiction most of the time and I am working on some fiction that will be out soon.
Some of my inspiration comes from seeing how far I can take my own imagination. In the end I want others to get excited over reading and finishing one of my books the same way I do when I find a great book to read, and I read a lot.

Tell us about your writing process.
My writing process in done in different forms. Sometimes I write from the seat of my pants, this gives me the flexibility to take my writing anywhere that I feel is need to know or simply information that could be useful.
Most of the time I am writing notes after notes when something comes to my mind and I want to remember later and I file it either somewhere on my desk, or in the bottom left drawer, or with a book marker with tags to easily find reference in another book.
Then there is my special note taking that keeps me in line with the framework of some non-fiction by making a post it wallpaper with outline formats for different types of information.

For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Wow, what a question. To be frank with you, I feel like I am each and every one of my characters. I do my best to see the story from each one of my character’s eyes.

What advice would you give other writers?
Take action and write. You can always edit it later, but you won’t get anything written or published if you don’t take action…

How did you decide how to publish your books?
Hmmm??? Well I am still new to self-publishing but I find that this is the best way to get published and read. If a publisher wants to publish any of my future works they need to come to me. I find that traditional publishing is a long process and can take up to a year to get your book in print.
E-Books are the fastest way to get published and in front of the public that will want to read your book.
Right now I am publishing through Amazon KDP.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I believe that the future of book publishing will reach new heights in the E-Book industry. Nothing can take the place of a good book in your hand, but E-Book publishing is going to grow more and more as time goes on.

What genres do you write?: Christian Non-Fiction, Christian Fiction, Online Business, Online Marketing, Teen Businesses

What formats are your books in?: eBook
